Carol and Johnny
Carol sat in a milky sun Johnny smiled at her, warmly, "I like you. You're fun." Johnny sat on a throne in a desert oasis Carol was the tree that gave him shade A pool of life for Carol, a pool of life for Johnny Desert winds blew, but they hardly noticed.
"So deep are your roots, so rich are your thoughts. I love you," said Johnny, "you're the first."
Carol blushed for a moment, then regaining her composure, she rustled with the wind to show her approval.
Then Johnny cracked open one of her fruits and drank the milk and faced the warm sun. He smiled in the sun's white warmth turned, grabbed an ax from his throne and chopped Carol down.
Carol laughed as she fell. "I love you too," she said. Johnny stood frozen. Carol fell on top of him. Johnny died with Carol in his arms.
Sometimes love is an ax. All I want is a kiss.
