Melancholy Malice

Soft spring solace in April shower With melancholy malice I sit passing hours Thinking of you and your bittersweet smile How you long for affection and a walk down the aisle How I kissed you gently in impudence Sought your approval and having secured it Declared independence So I sit in this rain, intense and in need Making war with my mind making waste with my seed Begging your mercy in tepid spring shower Cursing my weakness, damn you love, damn your power And stooping to kiss you again
