The Legend of John Faye

in a vegas cafe sat a man named john faye he sat at the gambling table

throwing money away no real reason to stay tired of the milliondale fable

the lady margaret walked in with her old lover slim unknowingly catching john's eye

a twinkle in his eye a rehetorical why not john faye left the gambling table

he approached lady margaret took aim at this target and pushed has been slim aside

now slim was mean (as mean as you've seen) took a knife from the pocket of his 501 jeans in a flash he slashed the chandelier cable

john didn't know (he was standing under it) he stood paralyzed by the vision of margaret crippled by the light of her love

he looked deep in her eyes what's she thinking (he couldn't surmise) she thought "move! move now or you're going to die!"

now lady marge had a heart of gold and smart as she was bold she ran up and kissed john right on the mouth

needless to say, john was amazed he fainted and fell back out of the way and marge to the blow fatal right on her head

now slim was ashamed of what he'd done cursed hisself and pulled out his gun and shot himself right in his big toe

john woke up with amnesia moved the island of polanesia and lived the rest of this life thinking his name was scott
