The Suffering

Suffer me this one benevolent kiss press close your lips to this lonesome face

and Suffer me this one passionate kiss drink these my lips with gulps and soft sips

and Suffer me this one long, soft, wet kiss a slow dance for our tongues your sweet breath in my lungs

and Suffer me this one innocent kiss pretend we are pure that we've always been sure

Then at last, should we kiss suffer me only this a fortnight to suffer for you.
